This ferry team has been happily married for over 15 years. Both New York natives, they only met after they moved to Southwest Florida, Corey in 2002, and Mirriah in 2004.
Corey’s love for the water started at the age of four when his father first introduced him to fishing. Growing up fishing for porgy’s, striped bass, pickerel, fluke, blue gill, flounder as a kid, led him to fishing tuna and big game fish in the Hudson Canyon. His love of fishing finally brought him to Florida to live and to work the charter and commercial
fishing boats out of Fish Tale Marina in Fort Myers Beach.
Corey has passed on his love for the water onto Mirriah and their kids, as now the whole family fishes and scuba dives together. When these two are not running the ferry together, you can catch them on their charter boat running sightseeing, fishing, and scuba diving charters with Lets Get Wet Dive Charters.
If you are coming to North Captiva Island, you can’t miss out on the island’s best kept secret…… those fresh handmade cinnamon buns Mirriah makes exclusively for North Captiva. Check out her page, Savie’s Sweet & Savory Treats and let her know when you are ready for the goodness!!
They are a part of this very special island community, and love being able to bring you to your island destination, and share this special place with you.
