You did it. You’re here and now all you have to do is kick back and relax. To help ease and organize getting you situated here are a few things you can check off your list:
- CHECK IN:
The Transportation & Welcome Center can assist you with all of your arrival needs. Check in is at 4:00pm. The staff will tag your baggage & groceries for tracking purposes– be sure to leave those tags on as all of your belongings will be delivered and waiting for you on the stairs of your vacation home. Talk about hassle free!
- TRANSPORTING CARGO:
There is a generous cargo limit, but please keep in mind your baggage will travel by sea, golf cart, and human hands so be sure to pack economically. Any piece of luggage exceeding 60 lb will incur an additional fee. This is to help ensure the safety of the staff, efficiency of gas mileage, and overall expediency of the transport.
- CARGO ALLOWANCES PER PASSENGER:
- 1 full sized piece of luggage (not exceeding 60 lb)
- 1 large bin (not exceeding 30 gal)
- 1 case or container of beverages (not exceeding 100 lb)
As an example– a party of 4 is allowed up to 4 large pieces of luggage , 4 large bins, and 4 cases of beverages. You are also welcome to do combinations of the above as long as your group doesn’t go over the previously listed limitations.
- ADDITIONAL CARGO FEES:
If you need to bring more things with you– no problem! Sometimes you can’t fit it all in one bag. Please find the additional fees below you will be charged per specific piece:
- $10 per full size additional piece of luggage
- $10 per additional large bin
- $2 per additional large container or case of beverages
If you feel you will exceed your cargo limits, please reply to your confirmation email at least 48 hours in advance so adjustments can be made.
- SHIPPING:
We receive packages 7 days a week but only ship Monday – Friday. You may pick up packages in the North Captiva island office 7 days a week from 9am – 4pm. If a package isn’t picked up in a few days we will drop it off at the house. Contact us for storage space pricing.
If you need to ship a package to the North Captiva Island Club it is $.75 per pound (with a five pound minimum $3.75).

A. If you are a homeowner with a club membership
When you ship or have shipped from online vendor, address it like this:

B. If you are a guest renting a home on North Captiva
When you ship or have shipped from online vendor, address it like this:

Your unit number and folio number both are on your rental agreement. If you need help contact us.
- COMPLIMENTARY BINS:
You’ll have the option to be provided with a complementary 27 gal Rubbermaid bin. It’s great for transporting groceries or other loose items. The bins must be returned within 4 hours of your arrival to avoid incurring a retrieval fee.
- HAZARDOUS MATERIALS:
In accordance with the law, no fuel, paints, chemicals, propane or any other combustible materials can be transported so please don’t bring these items with you.
- GRATUITY
Gratuity for any transportation, ferry, or housekeeping services is not included. Please note these are all separate guest services and all appreciate your tips.
- OTHER TRANSPORTATION:
Luggage assistance is provided through the North Captiva Island Club service. If you choose another mode of transportation and still need luggage assistance there will be an additional $50 logistical fee. If you book through a third party, North Captiva Island Club is not responsible for lost luggage or groceries.
- CHECK OUT:
Checkout is at 10:00am. Please have luggage ready at the bottom of the stairs of your rental home for pickup as noted in the departure schedule.
