NORTH CAPTIVA DINING, FROM LAND AND SEA
At Anchors Landing, every meal begins with Executive Chef James Pampinella’s lifelong passion for exceptional food. His philosophy is simple: thoughtfully source the finest ingredients and allow their natural quality to shine.
Our menu brings together Prime Black Angus beef, fresh seafood, seasonal produce, and carefully selected ingredients from across the country—all served in an intimate island setting designed for gathering, celebrating, and slowing down.
Come after a day on the water. Share a bottle of wine with friends. Celebrate an anniversary or enjoy a memorable family dinner. This is refined island dining without the formality—warm, personal, and unmistakably North Captiva.

THOUGHTFULLY SOURCED, FROM LAND AND SEA
At Anchors Landing, every ingredient is selected with purpose. We source our Prime Black Angus beef from DemKota Ranch in Aberdeen, South Dakota, where the open pastures and agricultural traditions of the Northern Plains produce beef known for its exceptional tenderness, marbling, and flavor.
From the waters surrounding our island, we source fresh Florida seafood whenever possible, including local shrimp and day-boat catch harvested by rod and reel. We select seasonal vegetables from small, family-owned Florida farms, bringing the region’s flavors to every plate. From the heartland to the Gulf, each ingredient reflects our commitment to quality, thoughtful sourcing, and food worth remembering.
FROM THE HEARTLAND TO THE ISLAND

The idea for Anchors Landing began with a simple belief: North Captiva deserved a truly memorable steakhouse.
Inspired by the owner’s small-town Kansas roots and lifelong appreciation for American ranching traditions, the search began for beef with an equally meaningful story.
In the Midwest, beef is more than something served on a menu. Behind it are generations of ranchers, farmers, and families who take tremendous pride in what they raise. That respect for the people and traditions behind the food became part of Anchors Landing’s foundation.
Together with Executive Chef James Pampinella, the team researched ranches and beef programs across the Midwest—not to find the largest supplier or the easiest solution, but something exceptional.
The vision was never to create a large or overly formal steakhouse. It was to build something intimate—a warm, welcoming restaurant where the food feels refined, the hospitality feels personal, and every table has the potential to become part of someone’s North Captiva story.
A place to celebrate an anniversary, gather for a family dinner, share a bottle of wine with friends, or enjoy an exceptional meal after a day on the water.
There may be easier ways to source ingredients, but we wanted to know the people, places, and traditions behind what we serve. Most importantly, we wanted to create the kind of meal guests remember long after their island vacation ends.
Anchors Landing is about more than an exceptional steak.
It is about gathering around the table with the people you love. Discovering a remarkable meal on a small barrier island accessible only by boat. And bringing a little piece of the American heartland to the edge of the Gulf of Mexico.
Welcome to Anchors Landing Steakhouse & Seafood.
